Person-centred Counselling

Person-centred counselling is based on the idea that, with acceptance, honesty and empathy, you can reach your full potential and become your truest self. I can help you explore your problems, emotions, beliefs, and behaviour, to help you become more self-aware and, hopefully, happier.

In a session of person-centred counselling you lead the session, it’s up to you to decide what gets discussed.

Sessions

Sessions are 50 minutes long, and cost £60-80. The default price is £60, with the option to pay up to £80, for higher earners who would like to pay more. I also offer a consessionary rate of £45 for those on lower income.

Sessions are usually weekly, on the same day and time. Although I am flexible and can offer fortnightly, monthly, or twice-weekly sessions.

I offer online, telephone and in-person sessions. In-person sessions are held in the Royal Exchange building in Manchester city centre.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation, so we can see if we’re likely to be a good fit for each other – no therapist is perfect for every client!

Therapy Room Accessibility

The room is wheelchair accessible.

The building has an automatic door, though the intercom may be a little high for wheelchair users, and there are no steps. My room is on the third floor, but there are two lifts available, immediately inside the entrance. On the third floor, there are two double doors which may be little heavy and awkward for wheelchair users. My room has no steps, the door is wide enough to fit a wheelchair through, and the room has sufficient space to position a wheelchair comfortably for the session.
